The San Francisco Giants have informed Barry Bonds he isn't welcome on the team next year.
After making all the money they could muster on his home run chase, barry is no longer needed in San Francisco. Say what you want about his alleged steroid use, but he did A LOT for that baseball club.

Like Barry said, baseball is a business. Magowan and Baer are wizards at generating revenue. As far as putting together a team? Not so much.

MAYOR STEELERSTAHL MEETS SNOOP DOGG
Undoubtedly the best thing I've come across in the past 24 hours, other than the new limited edition Pringles Onion Blossom chips, was this photo of Mayor Steelerstahl with Snoop Dogg taken sometime during the Super Bowl festivities and discovered by Sportsocracy. Some might question the wisdom of a major city's Mayor posing for a picture with a man who boasts an extensive...

I hope Sugar Shane Mosley was for real
Mosley's stock is arguably at an all-time high, and if there were any doubts about his standing amongst the all-time greats, his knockout of Antonio Margarito erased them all. I felt there was something fishy back in the early part of the decade when Barry Bonds was setting personal and all-time homerun records despite being in his late 30's.I hope that isn't the case...
Barry Bonds set to add new lawyer to legal team
Barry Bonds plans to add an attorney to his legal team before his federal court appearance next week, the slugger's longtime business affairs lawyer said Thursday. Michael Rains has represented Bonds since the home run king first was subpoenaed in 2003...
Why no one cares about Sammy Sosa
Sammy Sosa hit Home Run #599 on Friday Night and no one seems to care.
Some might say it's because Barry Bonds is overshadowing him, but Sosa really did it to himself.
More on the 'Plaxident'
....Point A happens to be the offices of the National Football League. Point B is where Plaxico shot himself in the thigh. It's a little hard to see, but I think you can get the idea of the insane proximity between the club and the NFL's offices.
Walking, this is a distance of .1 mile, which is somewhere around 500 or 600 feet. Plax is lucky that Goodell wasn't in...
Barry Bonds
Courtesy of ESPN (Gene Wojciechowski):Barry Bonds has played his last game, worn his last major league uniform, defied the truth for the last time. His baseball career came to a wrenching, unfulfilled, but fitting end the exact moment he was indicted on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice T...
Clemens' legacy is shot down the drain
With the revelation that Roger Clemens has been implicated in the Mitchell Report, his Hall of Fame legacy is pretty much shot down the tubes. You have to put Clemens right there with cheating slime like Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire. If you can't put McGwire or Bonds in the Hall of Fame, you can't put Clemens there, either.
Blogrolling Needs A New Area
Won't you please save a word today? Me, I'm going with boreism, or possibly namelings to describe the dozens of Ramerizi in MLB.NY Yankees Rumors.com has dozens of photos of the new yard, which looks really big and very expensive -- shocking, I am sure. His caption for the photo above ("It’s like an all Yankees Cooperstown") either shows that he's never actually...
Performance Enhancing Substances in NASCAR?
Apparently it's news that Barry Bonds' body is different than 15 years ago when he was a Pirate. One of my friends at work and I were discussing Bonds and went off on a tangent about steroids in NASCAR. What if Mark Martin injected HGH into his right foot? Maybe Chad Knaus' baldness is due to heavy u...
Random Thoughts on a Tuesday Afternoon
Sociopaths in Baseball
At this point I have no choice but to assume that Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens are sociopaths. Now, I know that’s a somewhat bold statement to make, but let’s consider how these two men have acted over the past months and years.
First of all, it’s...
Winning Is The Only Thing That Really Matters.
The past week has to go down as one of the wackiest in recent sports history.
* Barry Bonds was finally indicted on perjury and obstruction charges relating to allegedly lying about his use of steroids.
* Alex Rodriguez is back with the New York Yankees, despite the Yankees' insistence that they were done with him after he opted out of his contract...
