This year I decided I wanted to take an organizational look at everything and produce something that represented that.

I wanted to look over the entire organization and compile some sort of team that took every team into consideration.

However it's bland doing the All-Indians team by picking the best player at every position.

So I went ahead and made up this idea. It's called the All-Daily Team.

I have my own criteria, it doesn't have to make sense, but I generally like to pick the players who go unnoticed or play hard. Good reputation players that sort of define the word "Daily".

But there are picks there that probably aren't fully descriptive of that ideal, however that was my main basis.

So without further reasoning, the first ever All-Daily Team. Nicknames used, for sure.

FIRST TEAM
Catcher - Carlos Santana
Sweet Sounds just hits the damn ball. I don't care if he's a top prospect.

First Base - Jordan Brown
The biggest pro this organization seems to have.

Second Base - Cord Phelps
Cord gets on base, period. His average may suck but he's always on base. He's the definition of this team.

Third Base - Lonnie Chisenhall
Like Santana, he's a top prospect, but he just hits. Plus it was kind of hard to find anyone else that matched his awesomeness.

Shortstop - Asdrubal Cabrera
Drubes may be a budding superstar on this team, but he's shown a ton of maturity and growth in the past year.

Left Field - Matt McBride
Switching positions like a banshee and he is still managing to hit the cover off the ball.

Center Field - Michael Brantley
Like Cord, Mike is the ideal fit for this team. He plays hard, does small things and is freakin' awesome.

Right Field - Shin-Soo Choo
The fans love him for a reason.

Designated Hitter - Ole Sheldon
Dude... He's my new favorite player with an awesome name.

Left Handed SP - Chuck Lofgren
Is there anyone who's overcome more in the past year? Chuck is a total gamer and I defy you to find one person not happy about his turnaround.

Right Handed SP - Brett Brach
Marty Popham and Clayton Cook get a lot of the attention from that feared Scrappers Rotation, but Brach was the workhorse.

Set-Up Man - Frank Herrmann
I've praised Frank The Tank over and over again. No respect.

Closer - Vinnie Pestano
Vinnie the Gangster has been doing it for years. He keeps moving on up and keeps closing games.

SECOND TEAM
Catcher - Wyatt Toregas
Defense is something I value and Toregas is probably overall the most sound among Catchers in the system.

First Base - Nate Recknagel
"Recking Ball" nickname alone, he's on this team.

Second Base - Casey Frawley
All this guy did at every level was hit people's faces off.

Third Base - Jeremie Tice
He missed time due to injury, but he's still one of my favorites.

Shortstop - Jesus Brito
A guy named Jesus born on 12/25? You call it a coincidence, I call it a sign.

Left Field - Jordan Henry
Kipnis gets attention but Henry was there from the start and he produced.

Center Field - Donnie Webb
Some label him an organizational player. I label Donnie unstoppable.

Right Field - Johnnie Drennen
His legend grew when he homered off Roger Clemens. It started to die shortly after. He's back friends!

Designated Hitter - Greg Folgia
This guy was a 40th round draft pick and he's kicking more ass than anyone in the history of ass-kicking among 40th round picks.

Left Handed SP - Ryan Edell
Rondon, De La Cruz, Gomez, Huff, blah blah, blah blah, blah blah, Ryan Edell. Workhorse, reliever or starter. Give him love.

Right Handed SP - Justin Masterson
He was only here for half a season but he left his mark.

Set-Up Man - Zach Putnam
How could I not put "The Mascot" on the team?

Closer - Steve Smith
Everyone thinks oh yeah the fifteen wide receivers that were in the NFL, or the NBA player. No this guy throws a baseball and he's awesome at it in the ninth inning.
