Mike Pelfrey will open the last regular season 3 game set at Shea Stadium. Last time Mike Pelfrey pitched against the Marlins there was bad blood between Cody Ross and Pelfrey, as Pelfrey hit Cody Ross. The benches cleared but nothing transpired, but there was a lot of name calling. Mike was claiming he was keeping them honest on the inside part of the plate as a lot of these young hitters like to lean over the plate and Mike likes to pitch inside, sometimes they get plunked. It's going to be interesting to see if there will be a brawl tonight because both these teams do not like each other.... Hopefully the rain will hold up and they will Play Ball!
