Wow! Thats crazy how that works out. The best player ever to play in my opinion at least, got paid less than Matt Morris?!? And not only Bonds, but the other Pirate greats like Willie Stargell, Dave Parker, and one of the best SS's to ever play Honus Wagner. It's interesting to see how overpaid today's players are compared to some of the game's best ever.

Oh yeah. Almost forgot Roberto Clemente

OPINION: 756 or Cheater* ?
Via HSNY's Frank Negron Jr.: "We may never know what exactly was said during the BALCO trial and what was found during the BALCO investigation but until we get some official facts, I believe we should lay off Bonds. We have all at some point or another taken the easy way out or "cheated" to get ahead, so for us to reduce Bonds is ridiculous. The fact remains that...
Why I don't feel sorry for Mike Bacsik, Jr. ... and other #756 thoughts
Pitcher Mike Bacsik, Jr. showboated right before he served up #756.
And the defining moment of #756 was Bonds ignoring his son at home plate.

Pedro Gomez mysteriously evaporates after Bonds' 756th
Pedro Gomez, who was originally mistaken by scientists for one of the moons revolving around Bonds' gigantic head, unceremoniously disappeared last night following the record breaking home run at AT&T Park.

Bonds is playing poker with us
You're watching your buddies play Texas Hold'Em poker and the flop shows a 7-5-6. There's potential for a straight if someone holds a 3 & 4 or a 4 & 8 or an 8 & 9.
