    David Ortiz had 54, same as Mantle. Don't know why he's not on the list. Is it because he's black?

      He's not black, he's Hispanic. He's Dominican to be exact. He just looks black. Also he was just the last person to hit 54. Kiner and Mantle did it long ahead of him and therefore are listed ahead of him. Hence he is off the list by default due to only 20 slots.

        Why is it that Hispanic people can't be black? I've always wondered about this, because in my eyes Ortiz still looks black, and I've always kind of assumed that it was merely a skin colored thing. Also, since there are some Hispanics that have "white" skin, are they not "white" because they're Hispanic? I would love a serious explanation if anyone can offer one up.

    Be great if this quiz accepted all of my RIGHT answers. Typed Bonds, Howard, and Griffey Jr. in 20x and it wouldn't take them. Oh well...at least I know I knew them all haha.
