The latest news is that he has left his minor league rehab assignment and is shut down indefinitely. With around two months left in the season, we are nearing the writing-on-the-wall portion of Glaus' 2009 campaign. It's easy to say his season is in jeopardy, but we already knew that. Can you really be mad when it’s Pujols?
Sorry Met fans, that’s a tough loss last night. 3 run lead going into the eighth and the bullpen can’t hold it down. However that sort of thing can’t be helped when Albert Pujols is involed. Fat Albert went 4-5 with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. He hit a clutch eighth inning homer off [...]
Road To Success? Cardinals' Schedule About to Get a Lot Easier
Despite improved play after acquiring Julio Lugo and Matt Holliday, the St. Louis Cardinals have not really gained much ground on the National League Central division. After Chicago's 4-2 win over the Reds on Monday, the Birds are actually behind the Cubbies because of playing more games despite the winning record in the season series.
The future is bright for St. Louis. With an...

Is this year’s Phillies team better than the 2008 team? Seems like a pretty easy question, but the answer you get is going to depend on who you ask and when and maybe whether or not the Phillies have just lost five of six.
First things first. In 2008 the Phillies went 92-70 in [...]
