TEAMS: Toronto Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Rays
I'm down in Tampa on Vacation this week & I have some notes on Iwamura, Young, Upton, Crawford & more. Some are standard fair (Iwamura = good), and some will raise some eyebrows (Crawford is a terrible fielder, Young & Upton aren't 100% MLB ready) & more.

Awesome on location work. It's difficult to know what to expect from Japanese players when they come to the states, but the Rays didn't bring Iwamura over just for his bat. He basically became the best infielder the team had the minute he signed his contract. People asked why the team would sign him when they have Longoria and Upton to play third. The answer is that he can play three of the four infield positions. The Rays are also young like you said. Tthey desperately needed a player who can take a walk and play defense. Iwamura is that guy.
