Week One Injury Rundown

Good stuff. Hanley's injury is the most troublesome since his game is built on speed. Personally, when I have a guy like that, I like it when they just put him on the DL. Playing through that usually means sagging numbers and chance of re-injury or that it takes much longer to heal.

I'm not sold on Gagne yet. Back to back days is a great sign, but he didn't sound all that confident in talking about whether that's something the Rangers should expect of him. I'm still not touching him. In fact, now is the time I would buy low on Otsuka, not Gagne. He's still a better bet than Gagne to have more saves in 2007.
