Eli's MLB Rumors:
The White Sox will call up outfielder Scott Podsednik today, FOXSports.com is reporting. The Chicago Tribune reported Thursday night that outfielder Jerry Owens was seen shaking hands with teammates before leaving with his athletic bag. Owens is out of options, so he would have to go on waivers before being sent to the minors. Podsednik, 33, is hitting .262 with 0 HR and 1 SB in 10 games at Triple-A Charlotte. This story was approved by MLB Rumors.
