Yankee fan murders a Red Sox fan

It's pretty sad when a persons love and devotion for a sports team gets manifested in violence. It happens quite often with football (soccer!) fans on the rest of the globe but not very often with fans of the "big 4" sports in North America. Unfortunately 'not very often' is still way too often.

Authorities in New Hampshire have charged 43 year-old Ivonne Hernandez with reckless conduct and aggravated drunk-driving over the weekend after she ran over 2 Red Sox fans with her car. The fans were harassing (read: joking around) with the driver over a Yankees bumpersticker plastered to her ride. She didn't find it very funny so she plowed them over. 29 year-old Matthew Beaudoin later died from the injuries he sustained thanks to this psycho-fan.

wow. talk about taking it to the extreme. i would hate to see what would've happened if they made fun of her Yankees jersey.

She would take out the flamethrower from her trunk. New Hampshire would BUUUURNNNN

This lady has class written all over her.

Haha, wow. Absolutely classy.

Something tells me the obsession with the Yankees is not this womans' only problem.

I feel bad. Instead of just hurling out insults and calling her sarcastic names, I should be using my influence in the blog community to help her score some endorsement deals that would assist in covering her legal expenses.

At the least she could have zipped up her shirt for the mug shot.....skank bar fly.

I used to live 10 minutes from Nashua, the city in New Hampshire where this took place, but I'm not really surprised. New Hampshire is more "ghetto" than people think.

I'm more surprised that there was actually a Yankees fan there.

when I lived there, there were a few, but definitely way more red Sox fans....myself, well, I just had fun watchin all the bickering the fans had cuz I'm a Cardinals fan

She must not have taken her meds that day.

Is that A-Rod's mother?

i think so! lol

It sure looks like A-Roid's mother. Maybe she got into his roids and lost it.

wow all i have to say is wow!!! i don't if it's just me but this rivalry is becoming not so fun for some... what have we become a bunch of Bloods and Crips that feel the need to Rep til tha death?!?! what a moron!!! hav fun in jail for the rest of your pathetic life!

And I thought the Philly fans were bad. They just got one-upped by this psycho b*tch!!

good the world is better with less bandwagon fans :)

Wow how insightful!!! don't be bitter towards a deadman just because the Tigers are underperforming thier 200+million dollar payroll!!! maybe if the tigers didn't choke they would have some of their own!!! if only one life could be traded for another...

I think I would rather have bandwagons fans than cheer about a person being dead.

Heh, the guy that got ran over wasn't even one of the people taunting the woman. Also he's from New Hampshire, so like most other people from New England, he's probably been a Sox fan his entire life. Not quite bandwagon.

You're dumb.

im not worried about my tigers lol causei n the end they will be there

If by "there" you mean 4th place, then you are correct.

Bahaha. Burn.

They're are no bandwagon fans in New England. Boston is New England and New England is Boston. We're one big happy family.

Their all eat their clam chowder with the same spoon, huh?

Except for those Rhode Island bastards and their clear chowder. I don't know what they think they're trying to pull...

Not when it comes to Chowdah. We have to draw the line somewhere.

yah ouch he burned me considering i do not play for the team and they in no way shape or form represent me

yah ouch he burned me considering i do not play for the team and they in no way shape or form represent me

Then why would you say "my Tigers?" Don't contradict yourself just because someone made you look like an idiot.

What a piece of trash!
