Damn! Krazy Kyle Farnsworth's stock has fallen so far that even in market where teams are desperately searching for bullpen help the New York Yankees couldn't find a team to take him off their hands.
The worst news of the day for Yankee fans isn't that Eric Gagne is headed to Boston. I mean, that stinks but I am actually glad Brian Cashman didn't mortgage one of the young pitchers he is counting on to get the brilliant, but brittle Gagne.
The worst news is that Farnsworth will still be wearing his pinstriped No. 48 tonight against the White Sox.

Tom Hicks: Teixeira Turned Down 140 Million
Rangers owner Tom Hicks revealed to the Dallas News the reason the Rangers were so intent on trading Mark Teixeira. According to Hicks, Teixeira turned down an 8 year, 140 million dollar extension two weeks ago. Teixeira is very good, possibly a top-5 first baseman, but 140 million sounds like a lot. The Braves sending 5 of their top 10 prospects (including 1-3) to the Rangers seems...
Shelley Duncan trying to kill teammates with Bash Brothers tribute
With four home runs in twenty-one at-bats, Shelley Duncan is swinging a dangerous bat for the Yankees and an even more vicious "Bash Brothers" forearm celebration bump in the dugout. While some teammates seem to be enjoying it, others are fearing for their lives.
"One of these day, he going to kill to Robbie," said Melky Cabrera, Cano's best friend on the team. "You...
For Yankees, today is about getting rid of Farnsworth
The clock is ticking toward today's 4 p.m. major league baseball trade deadline, and as I write this Eric Gagne is still a Texas Ranger, and Scott Proctor and Kyle Farnsworth are still New York Yankees.
Most reports have the Yankees, New York Mets and Boston Red Sox all still competing to try and pry Gagne away from the Rangers.
As a Yankee fan, I care less about acquiring...
Yankee Stadium Fun Police
For the past few weeks Yankee Stadium security has banned all insulting or derogatory chanting from the bleachers. The banning spawned from an incident when the Yankees were playing the Mets and someone made an anti-Semitic remark to the Mets Jewish right fielder, Shawn Green. An outraged fan sent a letter to the Yankees and thus the end of 'fun' in the bleachers.
Torre comes to A-Rod's defense
Joe Torre says Canseco is doing this all for the benjamins
"You worry about anything like that, because unfortunately, when people see it in print, they add credence to it. That's the sad part about it," Torre said. "It's a shame, because when you play this game, you'd like to believe you play with some kind of respect. Obviously, Jose needs the money.

Jose Canseco knows just the right buttons to push in just the right places. His recent comments about A-Rod on a Boston Radio station are a prime example:
