Because the Mets were in Boston at the time, David Wright and Bobby Parnell watched Renfroe take batting practice and raved about his performance. Renfroe, whose father Laddie pitched in four games for the 1991 Cubs, has a scholarship offer from Ole Miss, and the buzz is that it's going to take close to $3 million for him to turn his back on the Rebels.
