Aaron Hicks pulled a Mike Trout on Monday night. The Minnesota Twins rookie has had a rough start to his career, but he busted out in a big way against the Chicago White Sox.
Hicks clubbed a solo home run in the fourth, robbed a potential tying 2-run home run in the top of the sixth, and hit a solo home run in the bottom of the inning to help the Twins get a 10-3 win.
Hicks was the 14th overall pick by the Twins in 2008 out of Wilson Classical High School in Long Beach, Calif. After five seasons in the minors, he broke camp with the big club and struggled. Hicks started off the season 2-for-48 but has picked it up in May. Monday marked his first career multi-hit game.
BEST OF MAXIM
MINNEAPOLIS It's not often a Twins player is coaxed out of the dugout for a curtain call from the fans at Target Field. Then again, not many Twins players have done what rookie center fielder Aaron Hicks did Monday as he hit two home runs and robbed another in Minnesota's 10-3 win over Chicago.
But since this was the first time Hicks received a curtain call in his young...
MINNEAPOLIS Aaron Hicks was all over the highlight reels on Monday night, and for good reason. The Twins rookie hit two home runs and also made a leaping catch to rob an Adam Dunn homer.
Following Monday's 10-3 win over the visiting White Sox, Hicks' phone was busy. He said he received around 80 text messages and around 15 voicemails from friends and family wanting to chat...
CATCH OF THE YEAR
Aaron Hicks of the Minnesota Twins made a homerun robbing catch today that might go down as one of the best of the year. Adam Dunn of the Chicago White Sox hit an absolute bomb to straight away center. Hicks took off towards the track and made a huge leap against the wall, robbing Dunn of what would have been about a 415 foot homer. Your browser does not support iframes.

Rookie Aaron Hicks may own one of the lowest batting averages in the majors, but he's finding success against the Chicago White Sox.
That's fairly common for Joe Mauer.
Hicks will try to build on his best performance in the majors, while Mauer looks to extend his hitting streak to 13 games as the Twins host the White Sox on Tuesday night.
Hicks, a first-round pick by Minnesota...
Adam Dunn of the Chicago White Sox was positive that he had a home run during the 6th inning of Monday night’s game against the Minnesota Twins. Unfortunately for Adam, Aaron Hicks had other plans and had one of the best home run robbing catches we have seen this year. Check out Aaron perfectly timing his jump for some highway robbery of a deep home run.

There are several different adjectives that one could use to describe the season so far for the Los Angeles Angels, almost none of which are appropriate for anyone under the age of 16. It's been a rough start to the 2013 campaign for the Halos, with almost no exceptions.
Even Mike Trout, who went from rookie to legend in the span of only a few months in 2012, has had his...

I got my copy of iOOTP 13 a few weeks ago and dove right in. I decided to go with the Toronto Blue Jays this time around to see if my sim team could match up to the expectations of the real world team this year.
If you’re used to the iOOTP format, you will pick up right where you left off. The action is pretty smooth as you’d expect and the set up is pretty much exactly...
