I'm not sure I'd label some of those guys "busts". Tim Lincecum has been an absolute monster in his last 5 starts. Alex Gordon has quietly stepped up his level of play since May (.883 OPS in June), despite slipping a bit in July. The reality is that most rookies wil struggle at least periodically; but, the future is still bright for many on this list.

Right, there's no denying most have bright futures ahead of them. It just might take a little longer to reach that potential than many envisioned going into the season. Lincecum is going to be a stud.
