Want drama? The American League wild card chase is heating up. Here's the latest look at how teams in the race stack up. Thursday's key results Tampa Bay Rays 4, New York Yankees 0 Buzz: Evan Longoria had three RBI to help lead the Rays to a sweep of the Yankees. Tampa Bay right-hander Alex Cobb only allowed three hits and struck out four batters in seven innings. The Rays reached New York right-hander Ivan Nova for two runs and eight hits in seven innings. Texas Rangers 6, Los Angeles Angels 5 Buzz: Jurickson Profar hit a game-ending solo home run to right field off reliever Michael Kohn, clinching a dramatic victory for Texas to keep pace with Cleveland and Tampa Bay. The Rangers held leads of 3-1 and 5-4 before pushing through at the end off Profars hit. Texas right-hander Matt Garza was roughed up for four runs (one earned) and 11 hits in 5 13 innings. The Rangers committed four errors. Cleveland Indians 6, Minnesota Twins 5 Buzz: Yan Gomes and Michael Brantley each had two RBI to push the Indians to their seventh consecutive victory. Cleveland right-hander Zach McAllister allowed no runs and six hits in 4 13 innings. Meanwhile, the Indians scored three earned runs and seven hits off left-hander Andrew Albers in 5 23 innings. Expect their streak to continue in Toronto. Los Angeles Angels at Texas Rangers, 8:05 p.m. Probable pitchers: LH C.J. Wilson (17-7, 3.36 ERA) vs. RH Alexi Ogando (7-4, 2.93 ERA) Worth noting: Ogando has allowed four earned runs and 11 hits in 13 13 innings against the Angels this season. Quick take: The Rangers keep finding ways to win. Problem is, so do the teams in front of them. Cleveland Indians at Minnesota Twins, 8:10 p.m. Probable pitchers: RH Corey Kluber (10-5, 3.61 ERA) vs. LH Pedro Hernandez (3-2, 6.05 ERA) Worth noting: Kluber has allowed six runs and 16 hits in 16 13 innings this season.
