Certainly not any thought that he could be a candidate for his third All-Star appearance, right? Once a dominant flame thrower in his earlier years with the Cleveland Indians, Colon would be turning 40 on May 24 and despite still possessing that mid-90′s fastball as a weapon, he is no longer the strikeout pitcher he once was. These days Colon lives by pounding the strikezone pitch after pitch, forcing the opposition to put the ball in play and trusting his defense behind him.
