And you thought the Red Sox were done?

I'll admit that there was a point in last night's game where I was pretty sure the season was over. Being down 7-0 in the bottom of the 7th inning seems like one of those moments where you start wondering about free agents in the offseason and how the club will look in 2009. Hell, I even took a few Tylenol PM halfway through the game because I didn't feel like there would be anything worth staying awake for. Fortunately I stayed my ground and didn't change the channel. Why? 2003 - Red Sox were down 2-0 to the A's in the ALDS 2004 - Red Sox were down 3-0 to the Yankees in the ALCS 2007 - Red Sox were down 3-1 to the Indians in the ALCS They managed to come back and win all 3 of those series. Obviously that isn't going to happen every single time but it certainly gives Red Sox fans hope and last night that hope was rewarded with a 7-run come-from-behind victory. Bring it on Tampa!
