Three minutes following the upsetting defeat of the Red Sox, Evan Longoria comes up to bad with the game tied 7-7. Instead of delaying the slay of the Red Sox, Longoria decides to finish it now. Blasting a line shot barely over the left field wall in fair territory. Winning the game 8-7, and making Boston fans choke on their chowder like they were the 2011 Boston Red Sox. Only day of the MLB season that baseball was actually exciting. Only took 162 games!

Unfortuneatly your comment is way off base (no pun intended)! First, Florida is a highly transient state. Hardly anyone who lives here was born here. Second, when these people move to Florida they already have their favorite teams well implanted in their heart and soul. Third, our teams are very new to the leagues they are in, whether it's, football, hockey or baseball. We love our Rays and you have no right to judge us just because the media likes to blast us.
