Found July 07, 2013 on MLB Injury News:
Aramis Ramirez was always at risk of causing further damage to his right knee while he stayed in the Milwaukee Brewers lineup. Now it seems as though that has finally happened as Ramirez departed last night's game after the fifth inning, following a diving play. Adam McCalvy of MLB.com tweeted the news during the game: Aramis Ramirez, limping in the dugout after making diving play to end 5th, is out of the game. Yuni enters to play third base for #brewers. — Adam McCalvy (@AdamMcCalvy) July 7, 2013 McCalvy later reported that the reason for the third baseman's departure was indeed because of knee soreness limiting his movement. Manager Ron Roenicke said Ramirez was actually in pain before he made the dive. "He was pretty sore in the knee, to the point where he wasn't moving around as good as he should be," said Brewers manager Ron Roenicke, who indicated Ramirez was hurting before his dive in the fifth. "So we needed to get him out there." The Brewers have not made any further announcements regarding Ramirez' status but they have already been giving him regular days off to rest his knee and if the soreness is worse than usual, he could sit for a few days. At the very least, he's likely to sit out on Sunday. Follow @mlbinjurynews Looking for fantasy baseball advice?

Tom Gorzelanny lone bright spot for Brewers in loss

MILWAUKEE -- A tough season rolled on for the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, as another loss came as a result of sloppy play. Scripted like so many of the 51 losses before it, the Brewers wasted a stellar performance in one aspect of the game due to failures in the other two. Left-hander Tom Gorzelanny gave Milwaukee six stellar innings in a spot-start, but a pair of throwing errors...

Lack of support doesn't help Johnny Hellweg's shaky start

MILWAUKEE -- There wasn't one person to blame for the sloppiness of the Milwaukee Brewers' 12-5 loss to the New York Mets on Friday night at Miller Park. The defense was poor, mistakes were made on the bases, outs were made at the plate, and the pitching left a lot to be desired. It would be unfair to point the finger to rookie right-hander Johnny Hellweg for Friday'...

Chinooks Will Reel You In, Given the Chance

I recently attended a Lakeshore Chinooks game for the first time with my dad and my friend Kevin.  In short, I had a great time and you should check it out.  It’s a short drive from Milwaukee, up at Kapco Park on the Concordia University campus.  It’s right near the lake so you kind of get that Wrigley feel with the winds.    The Chinooks are a recent addition...
