Oakland Athletics second baseman Scott Sizemore left Tuesday's game against the Detroit Tigers after being struck in the jaw by a pitch.
Sizemore was attempting a bunt in the fourth inning when a pitch from Rick Porcello came in high and tight. Sizemore was attended to and headed to the dugout. He was replaced by Eric Sogard.
X-rays came back negative and Sizemore is listed as day-to-day.
Sizemore, who started the season with Detroit before a trade to Oakland, is hitting .247 with 19 RBIs.
