The Arizona Diamondbacks have acquired Brad Ziegler from the Oakland Athletics reports Tim Brown of Yahoo Sports. The Diamondbacks had been looking for bullpen help for sometime and with Ziegler.

The sidearmer has posted a 2.39 era in 37 2/3 innings while not giving up a home run. Ziegler also is under control through 2014 via arbitration.

Yesterday, the Diamondbacks acquired Jason Marquis to help solidify their rotation.
