The Giants evened up the series against the Rockies last night, winning 5-3, with the help of a pair of home runs by Hunter Pence and Pablo Sandoval to in the first inning to help set the ton. With a man on and two outs in the top of the first, Pence crushed his 16th home run of the year. The monster shot was the longest home run hit in the majors so far this season with an estimated distance of 476 ft. Not to be outdone, Pablo Sandoval would follow up with a home run of his own. His solo shot was his 10th HR of the season and would mark the first time this year that the struggling Giants offense has hit back-to-back shots. Rockies outfielder, Charlie Blackmon, who was filling in for an injured Dexter Fowler (knee), put Colorado on the board with a double in the bottom of the third as they tried to fight back from a 3-0 deficit. Bay Area native, Troy Tulowitzki, led off the fourth inning with a single and would later be driven home by an RBI single to right field by Wilin Rosa...
