On Monday, though, he went through a more intensive workout than he had, adding lateral movement to his drills. "He moved really well out there," manager Ron Washington said before the game. "I just want to make sure that he's OK. We'll check again tomorrow." Asked if he were healthy enough to play third base, Beltre said: "I'm healthy enough to be in the lineu...

Rangers players scatter after someone breaks wind in the Texas dugout (VIDEO)

Apparently American cooking doesn’t agree too well with Yu Darvish’s constitution. During Monday night’s game against the Orioles a foul odor arose in the Texas dugout that caused the majority of the team to clear off to one side because of the unbearable stench.  Seeing that the only two Rangers left standing in the area of whatever was, as the broadcaster put it, “stale...

It must be nice to take a look at the American League stat leaders in Average, HR’s and RBI and see your name at the top of each of the three lists. Will Josh Hamilton Lead the Major Leagues in Home Runs?

Josh Hamilton accomplished one of the rarest feats in all of baseball on Tuesday, blasting four home runs in a single game. The Rangers outfielder is only the 14th player to ever do that, putting him in rare company considering 21 players have pitched perfect games. How About 'Dem Orioles? The Texas Rangers are on the docket and is the AL East Wide Open?

Morning all. How about 'dem Birds? So much for this portion of the schedule being a gauntlet for the Orioles. Just amazing. I'm still trying to wrap my head around yesterday's crazy, improbable and ridiculous victory. The game will be considered an epic if the Orioles can play deep into the summer and still remain atop the American League East. The Baltimore Orioles...

Texas’ Hamilton Makes History

Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton joined elite company Tuesday night, as the four-time All-Star slugged four home runs against the Baltimore Orioles and led the Rangers to a 10-3 victory. Only 16 hitters in MLB history have smacked four homers in one game, with the most recent player being Carlos Delgado on September 25th, 2003, when he was on the Toronto Blue Jays. All of Hamilton’s...

Orioles struggle on Monday Night; Rangers end five-game winning streak

The magic for the Orioles did not manifest itself tonight against the Texas Rangers in the start of their four-game set. After yesterday's win, everyone in the region was happy about the Orioles' recent run and were hoping for it to continue against the formidable Rangers; however, baseball can be a humbling game. There were no miracle comebacks, dazzling pitching performances...

Your browser does not support iframes. Former Red and current Texas Ranger Josh Hamilton became only the 16th player in MLB history to club four homers in a single game on Tuesday night. He currently leads all of baseball with 14 of 'em on the year. Oh, what could've been had the Redlegs kept him.
