A letter containing threats on black and Latin players on the Boston Red Sox has the team and MLB beefing up security for the next 3 games in St. Petersburg as the Red Sox get set to play the Rays at Tropicana Field. That series begins tonight. According to the report, the letter was received by the Red Sox and was postmarked in Memphis, Tenn. The letter targets at least two players by name. Security will accompany the players to their hotel from Tropicana Field after the game.
