Brett Lawrie hit a walkoff home run in the ninth inning and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Texas Rangers 8-7 Tuesday night. After Francisco Cordero blew a save opportunity in the top of the ninth, Lawrie won it in the bottom half with a leadoff homer against Mike Adams, a shot that bounced off the top of the wall in left center, his third. It was the second Toronto homer of the game to bounce off the wall and out: Kelly Johnson's three run shot in the third did the same. Jose Bautista also connected for Toronto, who rallied from 5-0 down to beat the team with the best record in baseball. Cordero (1-1) allowed Michael Young's game-tying single in the ninth.

When you think of all-time great shortstops, Omar Vizquel may get overlooked, but for those who know baseball, Vizguel is most likely top five on the list. Now at 45 and currently playing with the Toronto Blue Jays, Vizquel looks to be calling it a career after the current season. While he is not sure, he is definitely

Jose Bautista Is Such A Little ***** On Twitter; Hitting .181 & Making $14M!

First of all, sorry about all the Blue Jays posts today. It just worked out that way. Don’t think this is a trend. We know Canadian stories don’t move the pageviews meter so plan on this being the last one for awhile. Anyway, Jose Bautista is such a little *****. You know how we know? He goes on Twitter and posts this stupid tweet about his haters. Like this guy doesn’t have...

A hot Bautista could send Jays soaring

Don't feel lonely, Albert. You're in great company: Jose Bautista finished April with a .181 batting average. "Albert is probably the best offensive player, ever, in the first 11 years of anybody's career," Bautista told me Tuesday, after the miserable month (finally, mercifully) drew to a close. "I'm not worried about Albert. I'm sure he's...
