When the Blue Jays first demoted Kyle Drabek to AAA, it was expected that he wouldn’t be down there for long. Having thoroughly dominated AA ball, Drabek was supposed to go to Las Vegas to find trust in his stuff, fix the control issues, dominate for a bit before getting the called back to the big leagues. Unfortunately for Jays and Drabek, it hasn’t exactly panned out that way; in fact, you could say that what was a problem in the bigs has only worsened.The rookie pitcher has made 2 starts since being assigned to the Las Vegas 51s, and they have both been the near-unwatchable variety. With the team instructing Drabek to stay away from his cutter to work on his fastball (what about his curve?), Drabek went just 4 innings in his first AAA start, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits while walking a ridiculous 7 batters. Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse, it did; Drabek didn’t even make it out of the first inning of his 2nd start, giving up 5 runs on 4 hits (2...
