ESPN is reporting that the Boston Red Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks are talking about a swap of bad contracts: Julio Lugo for Eric Byrnes:

"The Red Sox are having discussions with the Diamondbacks about a Julio Lugo-for-Eric Byrnes swap. Brynes would serve as a fourth outfielder for Boston; Lugo would play second base for the Diamondbacks."

  • Good riddance if the DBacks send Byrnes packing, his act has gotten real old. If he paid as much attention to playing the game as he does to that stupid Eric Byrnes show he does, maybe he would stay healthy and put up some numbers.
