The Atlanta Braves have acquired catcher Wil Nieves for cash considerations from the Milwaukee Brewers according to Brewer Nation. The Braves are in need of a catcher after they had to place Brian McCann in the Disabled List.

Nieves is hitting .140/.189/.180 in 50 AB's with the Brewers in 2011.
