Newsday is reporting that Brian Cashman has agreed to a three-year deal to remain the Yankees' general manager.
It seemed pretty clear that this was going to get done. Cashman would have had opportunities to run other teams without having his hands tied so frequently, but there wasn't much chance of him leaving the most famous and biggest-spending team in baseball.
