The injury bug has
infiltrated the New York Yankees clubhouse this spring, and things just
got a whole lot worse for the Pinstripe Punks. On Wednesday Yankees manager Joe
Girardi announced that Mark Teixeira will miss 8-10 weeks due to a wrist injury sustained
during batting practice with the United States' World Baseball Classic team.
Earlier today RedSoxLife
writer Joel Trunfio reported on a story regarding the possible suspension of three key New York Yankee players for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs - the three players in question were Robinson Cano, Curtis
Granderson and Alex Rodriguez. We’ll continue to bring you updates regarding this
doomsday scenario for the New York Yankees.
