Steve Stone, television color man for the Chicago White Sox and analyst for radio station WSCR "The Score" in Chicago, is reporting that the Detroit Tigers are interested in obtaining the services of Cubs outfielder and major disappointment Milton Bradley.
Stone speculates that the Cubs would have to help pay for a portion of the sizable remaining contract, and that they would likely receive little in return.
He then goes to on to suggest that the Cubs turn their attention to Washington's Adam Dunn. Dunn would play right field for the Cubs if obtained.
I'm sure the Cubs would love to unload the mercurial Bradley, who has angered Lou Piniella by his actions on and off the field. Bradley is hitting just .242 with six homers and 22 RBI.
Meanwhile, Dunn is batting .272, with 24 homers and 65 RBI, while posting a robust .402 OBP for the last-place Nationals.
