The injuries are coming in bunches for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Aramis Ramirez doubled for his first hit of the spring Saturday but left Milwaukee's 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels with a strained left knee.
Ramirez snapped an 0-for-10 start with a bloop double down the left-field line in the third inning. After time was called, he stepped off the bag and was met by the team trainer before walking slowly back to the dugout. He will be re-evaluated on Sunday.
''When he slid into the bag, that impact jammed it,'' Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said. ''We checked it out and couldn't see any damage there. He's day to day, but usually that's more than one day.''
It was the third significant piece of injury news for Milwaukee on Saturday. Right-hander Yovani Gallardo was scratched from his scheduled start Sunday against the Cubs with tightness in his groin, and left fielder Ryan Braun was out of the lineup with a bruised left knee.
