According to Chris Singleton of ESPN, the Milwaukee Brewers acquired utility man Jerry Hairston Jr. from the Washington Nationals.

Scott Miller of CBSSports.com adds that the Brewers will send Double-A outfielder Erik Komatsu to the Nationals.

Hairston Jr is hitting .268/.342/.385 with 4 HR's and 24 RBI's in 213 AB's for the Nationals this season.
