After having a much-needed day off on Sunday, Corey Hart returned to the Milwaukee Brewers line-up on Monday and put forth an unbelievable performance against the Washington Nationals.
Batting from the two-spot, Hart hit not one, not two, but three home-runs and accumulated a career-high seven RBI.
The three long-balls were Hart’s first, second and third of the year. With his two-run shot in the fifth inning, Hart became the 19th Brewer to hit 100 home-runs.
“Hopefully this is a start. Hopefully I can start swinging the bat better and keep it going,” said Hart following the Brewers’ 11-3 win.

Coming into Monday’s game, it was very obvious that Hart hasn’t been his self at the plate. Through 21 games this season, the right-fielder was sporting a frightful .237 batting average with only one run batted in.
