While the San Francisco Giants appear to be heating up, the Milwaukee Brewers continue to struggle.
The Giants look to complete their second series sweep in three years of the Brewers at Miller Park on Wednesday.
Buster Posey and Joaquin Arias each hit two-run homers as San Francisco (23-20) won for the eighth time in 11 games, 6-4 over Milwaukee on Tuesday. The Giants, who have won four in a row against the Brewers this season, last swept a series at Miller Park from July 5-8, 2010.
San Francisco has outscored the Brewers 67-33 while winning 10 of 13 in Milwaukee.
The Brewers (17-26), who went 2 for 13 with runners in scoring position Tuesday, have dropped six of seven. The lone victory came in a 16-4 rout of Minnesota on Sunday, and they've totaled 17 runs in those six defeats.
"We're way too good to be playing like this," scheduled starter Marco Estrada told the Brewers' official website. "Things are going to change."
