The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has recently put up a blog post naming Brewers' Tuesday starter.. And it's....drum roll...Carlos Villanueva. The Mariners game notes for tonight are out, and their Tuesday starter is listed as...Jarrod Washburn. There has been rampant speculation that the Brewers could be on the verge of trading for Washburn, perhaps in time to have him on the mound Tuesday. That theoretically could still happen, of course, but time is running out to get Washburn to Milwaukee in time to pitch Tuesday evening. Part of the speculation was fueled by the fact Brewers manager Ken Macha had not named his Tuesday starter against the Nationals. Now he has. We're about to go down to the clubhouse. We'll see if Washburn is still around and wearing a Mariners' uniform.
