Found July 31, 2013 on BaySportsNet:
It’s official. Brian Wilson is now a Los Angeles Dodger. After spending the last 15 months recovering from his second Tommy John surgery, the famous bearded closer shucked his roots in the San Francisco Giants organization and opted to sign a one-year, $1 million contract with their arch-rivals. There have been mixed reactions from around the league. His former teammates and current Giants are happy that he’s found a place to play. According to Giants beat writer Chris Haft, Matt Cain sent Wilson a congratulatory text. Manager Bruce Bochy was happy that he made the comeback despite the two surgeries. Tim Lincecum said, “He’s probably one of the hardest workers I’ve seen, so I know that’ll be a reflection of what you see out there.” Obviously, however, the San Francisco fans don’t feel quite as happy for Wilson. You didn’t have to look any farther than Twitter to discover their true feelings. Brian Wilson is now a Dodger. May his beard catch lice. — San Francisco (@sanfranmag) J...

The Los Angeles Dodgers reportedly have signed former Giants closer Brian Wilson, who hasn't thrown a big league pitch since April 12, 2012.

Brian Wilson: Blackbeard and Blue Bastard

I wish I didn't care... I honestly do. I wish I didn't form attachments to players and memories and things like that, but unfortunately, that's just the way I operate. Some people are able to be far more rational and detached when it comes to sports, and sometimes I envy them for that. For me, the news that Brian Wilson chose to sign with the Dodgers of his own volition...

Conflicting reports tie Diamondbacks to Brian Wilson

Early Monday, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported that the Diamondbacks were “strong front runners” to land former Giants closer Brian Wilson, but that report was shot down later in the day by Arizona Sports 620‘s John Gambadoro. Last week it came out that the Diamondbacks were one of several teams on hand to watch Wilson throw.

New Dodgers Closer Brian Wilson Proves he is Still One Weird Dude

Former San Francisco Giants turned Los Angeles Dodgers closer Brian Wilson definitely walks to the beat of his own drummer. He proves that everyday with that epic beard of his his. The spandex tuxedo is a pretty good indicator. His 'date' with a Sasquatch is pretty telling as well. As the latest piece of evidence we have this--his photo-shopped image of a special Dodgers...

Brian Wilson: Hate Him Now, But Love Him Forever

Former San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson, signed a Minor League deal this past Tuesday (July, 30) with the Rival Dodgers. This had all the Social Media outlets going crazy, people wishing bad things on Wilson (myself included, before I took a step back) hoping that his career ends before it starts back up etc.  I didn’t think much of this, people are upset and rightfully...

Captain BlueBeard

Brian Wilson is a Los Angeles Dodger. That doesn’t make me angry, just sad.  I hate to see any great Giant to go on to wear the Dodger Blue, but him especially.  I could handle him on just about any other team than the Dodgers. Well, I’d hate to see him on the Cardinals.  Or the Braves for that matter.  And the Angels definitely would suck, because it’s still L.A.  And...
