I’m black ops. Just months after a successful Tommy John surgery to repair structural damage to his pitching elbow, former Giant’s closer, Brian Wilson has suffered a bit of a setback in his attempt to return to his former glory. This week Wilson will fly to Alabama to meet with surgeon to the stars, Dr. James Andrews, and undergo the highly controversial Elton John surgery to repair a torn frilly cuff. When asked about his recent injuries, the bearded closer was quoted as saying, “I’m feeling like I want to rage… right now… To be honest, my body is just doing what it wants and it… it’s not sorry for party-rocking.” When asked if he expects to sign with a team and play in the upcoming 2013 season, Wilson responded with, “Sounds delicious.” We here at the Punch Drunk Network would like to wish Mr. Wilson a speedy recovery.
