After several failed attempts in the minors at growing a mustache, and another brief attempt in the majors in 2012, it appears that Bryce Harper is attempting to grow a mustache again. He's got a way to go to surpass his brother Bryan's impressive stache.

Washington Nationals‘ Bryce Harper takes exception to intentionally getting beaned after connecting for a home run in his previous at bat. There is no mistaking what Atlanta Braves hurler Julio Teheran intentions were going right after the Nationals superstar. Order was restored after a few choice words from Harper. I have a feeling Justin Upton may want to watch himself when Jordan...
Facing a crucial series against the rival Atlanta Braves, the Washington Nationals appeared to have one final shot at getting back into the playoff hunt. But after being swept by the Braves for the second time this year, the Nationals appear to be officially out of the playoff race, a real disappointment for the organization Sports Illustrated predicted to win the World Series.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past 48 hours, here’s what you’ve missed in the now ongoing saga that is the Braves/Nationals rivalry:
Atlanta Braves left fielder Justin Upton hit a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the 8th in Game 1 of the three-game set...
Tweet Currently in the seventh inning, the Atlanta Braves are leading the Washington Nationals 2-1, which in itself doesn’t sound too exciting. But that hasn’t been the case. Washington’s lone run came via a Bryce Harper home run in the third inning, which was followed by this. In the fifth inning, this happened. This […]
Bryce Harper was not a happy camper after being plunked in the thigh by Atlanta Braves pitcher Julio Teheran in the bottom of the fifth inning on Tuesday. The hit-by-pitch resulted in both benches clearing, however, nothing escalated further than that.In Harper's previous at-bat, he smacked a solo home run off Teheran, so perhaps this is why the Braves felt compelled to drill...
Bryce Harper gets nailed in the thigh with a pitch by Julio Teheran causing benches to clear. BH had homered in his previous at-bat.

Things got ugly during tonight’s Nationals-Braves game after Bryce Harper admired his 437-foot home run just a little too long.

Braves’ pitcher Julio Teheran decided Harper was guilty of showing him up and decided Harper must pay the iron price. This made Harper upset and he began barking at Teheran as he moseyed on down to first base....
I swear, as I sit here in the dead of night next to the Pacific Ocean that I have been racking my brain for hours trying to find a story that doesn’t involve A-Rod or Johnny Manziel. I don’t want to read anything that doesn’t involve them both being completely and irrevocably exonerated because everything else there is to say about them is too boring. I thought about penning...
Atlanta Braves general manager Frank Wren said Wednesday that a tweet directed at Bryce Harper was "an inappropriate attempt at humor," even as both teams wondered when or if there would be further repercussions from the fastball that drilled the Washington Nationals slugger in the leg the night before.
Harper took exception when he hit by Julio Teheran in the fifth inning...
Say this for the Braves and Nationals they added a little intrigue Tuesday night to a division race that’s all but over.
The NL East rivals got testy after a benches-clearing shouting match broke out between Bryce Harper and Julio Teheran in the fifth inning but it proved just a sideshow in another Braves victory. The Braves hung onto their 2-1 lead for four more innings to win...

The Nationals are in free fall as the pitching and hitting that was around to make the playoffs last year is nowhere to be found this year. The Nats are 14-and-a-half behind the Braves and are staring a sweep right in the face.
So, what happens after Bryce Harper homers off Julio Teheran the second time he comes to the plate...??/
The biggest problem with last night’s ******** “brawl” was the Nats clearly have lost focus. Maybe lost focus is putting it mildly, because based on a 54-59 season that has the team 14.5 games back in early August, it’s arguable the team lacked focus from the beginning.
But back to last night.
Harper hit a bomb off Braves starter Julio Teheran, and Harper took a few seconds...

The Atlanta Braves and the Washington Nationals contest was filled with drama and it all started in the third inning when Nats All-Star Bryce Harper took Braves pitcher Julio Teheran deep to straight away center field.

After two straight losses to the last place Chicago White Sox, it's hard to ignore the fact that the season is now getting away from the Yankees. If only this fact was as innocuous as the pitch that got away from Chris Sale last night, hitting Alex Rodriguez. However, it is not, and the Yankees are seemingly headed to their first absence from the postseason since 2008.Speaking...
