One of the most underrated subplots of this season has been Lyle Overbay, or maybe the lack of Lyle Overbay. Loverbay's had a quietly effective season thus far. But having had to split time with the indomitable Kevin Millar—who can only be killed with silver bullets tipped with Nair—has put somewhat of a damper on the swagger for the lefty first basemen.
