The "Rally Squirrel" that has made a handful of appearances at Busch Stadium during the National League Division Series may not be around if the St. Louis Cardinals advance in the postseason.

KMOX Radio in St. Louis reported Friday that stadium employees have set up seven humane traps to catch the squirrel. The traps have peanut butter and close behind the squirrel once he enters, allowing the animal to be taken elsewhere.

A squirrel ran on the field in both Games 3 and 4 this week. In Game 4 on Wednesday, a squirrel sprinted across the front of home plate as Philadelphia's Roy Oswalt was delivering a pitch to Skip Schumaker. It scampered into the stands, disrupting fans.

The Cardinals won Wednesday to even the series at two games each. Friday's game in Philadelphia determines which team advances to the NL Championship Series.
