Gomez ready for Klitschko?
Um, no. Vitali Klitschko is arguably the best heavyweight since Lennox Lewis. Juan Carlos Gomez is....well....Juan Carlos Gomez. Still, I love to see people who have absolutely no chance of victory talk a bunch of noise before a nationally televised fight.

Amir Khan is stepping up to face all time great Marco Antonio Barrera. That's quite the leap for someone who was kayoed by a fighter I've never heard of. Still, will this be the next chapter for the much ballyhooed prospect?
It'd be fun to watch, but unlike ESPN boxing guru Dan Rafael, I do not think the fight is worth the 25 dollar PPV. Maybe if it had a really good undercard, but watching Amir Khan fight an over-the-hill fighter he should beat is a lose/lose scenario. If he wins, he should have so why did I waste my money? If he loses, well what the heck...why did I wasted my money on this bum?
Finally, despite rumors to the contrary, the Wladimir Klitschko-Dave Haye talks may have collapsed. Great, more nonsense from a fight that probably won't live up to expectations. Way to go...
