Carpenter Sharp In Debut

Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter was sharp in his season debut taking a no-hit bid into the seventh inning. Carpenter has spent the past two seasons battling injuries, but looked like his old self today fully recovered. Many are saying the Cubs have the NL Central in the bag, but Carpenter and Adam Wainwright, if healthy, could put the Cardinals right back on top of the Central.

His ability to win, rack up strikeouts, and keep his WHIP down made him a target for the early rounds. The question is whether or not he can stay healthy. If he is available, add him.
