The Cubs young middle infield made headlines Tuesday. The 21-year old shortstop and rookie second baseman have been two bright spots for the Cubs this season. Starlin Castro became the first Cub to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated since September of 2008 (Aramis Ramirez) and Darwin Barney was named the NL Rookie of the Month for April after putting together a .326/.351/.449/.801 slash line that included four doubles, two triples, 14 RBI and the first home run of his career.
