  • It will be an "interesting" pitching staff this season for the Cards. I actually think I might write an article now talking about the Card's '09 staff. A healthy Carpenter, Mulder, a better developed, Wainwright, and Anthony Reyes. Some cast offs like Brandon Looper or Joel Pineiro, or even Matt Clement, could make the '09 staff very formidable. Figure the '08 season is a bit of a wash the way the staff is set up right now.
