Cleveland fans, especially the women are lacking this year as it is the first year that Cleveland is not home to “Grady’s Ladies” – the female fan club for former Center Fielder Grady Sizemore. Grady, who was a fan favorite and a complete ladies man was overcome by injuries in the last few years, and is a free agent as of right now after just making another comeback from back surgery. After not re-signing Sizemore at the end of last season, the ladies of Cleveland officially shut down the Grady’s Ladies website. Even Betty White was upset about the club being no longer open as she AND her character joined on “Hot In Cleveland”. So what’s a lady to do… This past January, 28 year old Drew Stubbs was traded to the Tribe from Cincinnati in a three team trade. And after playing 78 of 83 games this season, he is putting up Grady Sizemore like numbers (when Sizemore was in his prime). He is hitting .238 with 6 HRs and 30 RBIs. Something more impressive than numbers is his speed. Faster than Grady, Drew is the hardest guy in the league to double up. He also has 8 stolen bases. Drew Stubbs is so fast, he power-walked to third. #FunFact — Believeland Nation (@BelievelandFans) June 28, 2013 The Twitterverse loves Stubbs. His speed, and his ablilty at the plate landed him his own hashtag on Twitter. #CHUBBSFORSTUBBS is trending right now LOLOL — CLE Sports Rant (@CLESportsRant) June 27, 2013 Other than his speed, his dashing good looks has fans wondering about Stubbs’ love life. Much like Grady Sizemore (until his public engagement), Stubbs’ private life is very exclusive. But it was reported that in 2010, DrewStubbs was dating ESPN sportscaster Samantha Ponder, then Samantha Steele. But as of now ladies, it appears that he is available and on the market.
