For whatever reason, Cliff Lee was in no mood to mess around on Tuesday night at the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The All-Star Game pregame introductions are usually a chance for players to get their recognition from the fans in attendance and be introduced to fans across the world watching from home. One would think that might be a pretty joyous occasion for most players. Apparently Lee is the exception. That’s what it looked like Tuesday night in New York, as Lee emitted no emotions let alone joy as he was introduced to the fans in attendance. Granted, Lee was booed as a member of the rival Phillies, but he’s probably used to that by now. Even so, players usually don’t take hostile receptions very personally. Perhaps Lee’s reaction was some sort of inside joke. Either way, it’s pretty frightening. Check it out in the video below. Your browser does not support iframes.
