C'mon Ken Griffey Jr., let us give you the send-off you deserve

Dear Ken Griffey Jr.(notes):Hey Junior, you still aren't saying if you're playing the final games of your Hall of Fame career this weekend and it appears that you're leaving every possible door swinging wide open as the season winds to a close.Part of me thinks that you're too cool and proud for a round of rocking chairs, microphones and tears and that you'll walk away quietly in the offseason. You'll let the season-long lovefest you just received during your Seattle return serve as your sendoff.But another part of me believes that you love the game and clubhouse environment so much that you'll want to come back for 2010, even if your numbers — .214/.324/.402 — don't warrant any team handing your their designated hitter role for anything more than sentimental or ticket-selling reasons.You're probably aware that people have a wide array of opinions on the current limbo you've placed us in.
