The Colorado Rockies added right handed pitcher Armando Galarraga on Monday in a trade with the Cincinnati Reds.
Galarraga, 31, had been pitching for the Reds Triple-A team in Louisville. During his tenure with Louisville Galarraga had made 16 starts and compiled a 2.98 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP.
Last season Galarraga made five starts at the major league level with Houston going 0-4 with a 6.75 ERA.
The Rockies traded 24-year-old Parker Frazier to the Reds to complete the deal. Frazier most recently pitched at Triple-A Colorado Springs.

It's no secret that Major League Baseball has placed a lifetime ban on all-time hit king and Cincinnati native Pete Rose. The league has pretty much ignored all of Rose's achievements since banning the Reds legend for betting on baseball.
In fact, Commissioner Bud Selig would probably like it if there were no traces of Rose's impact on the game available at all. So...
