Rockies Locker:
The Rockies have suspended 32-year old righty swinging catcher Eliezer Alfonzo for 100 games due to his second positive test for performance enhancing drugs. Alfonzo played in 25 games for the Rockies this year and he was 20 for 75 (.267 avg, .624 OPS) with 2 runs scored, 1 homer and 9 RBIs. He has now played in 193 games in his first six years in the majors and he is 142 of 591 (.240 avg, .648 OPS) with 44 runs scored, 17 homers, 67 RBIs and 1 stolen bases. This could be the end of Alfonzo’s major league career.
